Project Summary Within a year of hip fracture 20-30% of patients die, and 50% percent lose the ability to walk. A consensus exists that infection with the human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) or the hepatis C virus (HCV) increases the likelihood of fracture risk.

Use of Digital Tomosynthesis for Detection and Case Management of Scaphoid and Distal Radius Fractures: A Volume RAD Data Collection Study
The test arm will enroll up to 100 volunteers presenting with a wrist injury, consisting of up to 50 volunteers presenting a suspected or confirmed distal radius fracture and up to 50 subjects presenting a suspected or confirmed scaphoid fracture. The control arm will enroll up to 40 healthy volunteers.
