Summary

The research study is being done to look at the effect of sleep apnea surgery on different measures of
cardiovascular (heart) function in people with obstructive sleep apnea.

Description

If you agree to join the study, you will be asked to complete the following research procedures:
1. Have an at-home sleep test.
2. Wear a blood pressure monitor for a full day, before and after your surgery.
3. Let the researchers collect information from your medical record.

In addition to your planned surgery and standard medical care, we are asking you to do an
extra home sleep test and 2 sets of blood pressure testing. We will also look in your medical record and collect information such as your age, sex, race, height, weight, whether you have been diagnosed with high blood pressure or diabetes, and the results of your standard care sleep test and clinical follow-up visits.

Your participation would last for about 8 months.
