Summary
The main purpose of this study is to determine if certain genes, hormones, or other factors predict the risk of developing lung vessel disease in patients with liver disease and whether they determine outcome. Patients in need of a liver transplant evaluation or have portopulmonary hypertension or are suspected of having portopulmonary hypertension will be recruited to participate in a Study Day Visit where blood/urine will be collected and diagnostic tests will be performed. Most of these tests are considered standard of care.
