A brief treatment on PTSD symptoms in pregnancy

Summary
We are looking for women to participate in a research study on psychotherapy for symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) during pregnancy. The study will involve: screening questionnaires and a baseline visit to determine eligibility; Participation in a computer based stress task; Four weekly visits (30-45 minutes) with a psychologist where you will learn stress management skills and fill out questionnaires. Healthy controls will ONLY participate in a one-time assessment.
Description
Benefits to participating: You will learn skills such as breathing techniques and mindfulness for managing stress, at no cost. You will receive 4 individual sessions with the study psychologist. You will help us learn more about how to help women with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
FAQ
You may be eligible if you are: Up to 22 weeks pregnant; Experiencing symptoms of stress related to a traumatic event; Able to meet weekly with a therapist for 4 weeks. If you are a healthy control, you may be eligible if you are: Not experiencing any stress. Please contact the study team directly for more information about the study and determine eligibility.
